Ruben Squad in Town

This is an ensemble of all my friendo 's bionicle OCs (Those I know of anyway). From left to right: Rori, Tenshii, Pai, Hihso, Crate and Domino.

It's not a commission or anything and while this looks like gift-art(which it also is) its actually more of a fan-art. I love these characters and I find them incredibly interesting design-wise. Check 'em just-rube.tumblr.com/tagged/oc

I'm the kinda guy that prefers to illustrate already existing stuff rather than create something new, so this is my comfort-zone and it was a blast of fun to draw, though also a bit a challenge at times. Hihso's red angled head and body was probably the hardest to get to look how I wanted, tho in the end I think I like his face the most of all of them. Clothes was the easiest elements for me to draw while the mechanical armour parts, and especially the faces, were the hardest. So foxy Domino was the easiest by far.


Making this image was actually very much like meditation for me in a time when I have been very stressed about my life and studies.
